JOSEPH DEMARIA

Joseph is an LA-based filmmaker with a passion for creating twisty, genre-focused queer narratives. Merging cathartic escapism with universal themes, his films often explore the complexities of voyeurism, connection, and paranoia in the digital age. 

 

With a background in narrative and documentary, his work has been featured at Academy Award-qualifying festivals such as the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, LA Shortsfest, and 25 Under 25. 

 

Currently, he is in pre-production for the psychological thriller short INTERNET BOY and developing his debut feature film.
